BevRepRouter ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our iOS mobile application designed for beverage sales representatives.

  • All account contact data is stored locally on your device

  • No personal data is transmitted to external servers

  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties

2.1 Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following information locally on your iPhone using secure iOS storage (AsyncStorage and iCloud):

  • Account Contact Information: Names, addresses, establishment types, phone numbers, priorities, visit history

  • Route Data: Saved routes, route history, optimization preferences

  • Goals & Performance: Personal sales goals, call tracking, performance metrics

  • Expense Tracking: Mileage logs, expense reports

  • App Preferences: Dark mode settings, notification preferences, map preferences

Important: This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it using the app's export feature.

2.2 Location Data

The App uses your device's location services to provide the following features:

  • Display your current location on the territory map

  • Optimize route planning based on your starting location

  • Calculate distances and estimated travel times

  • Track mileage for expense reporting during active routes

Location Data Usage:

  • Location data is processed entirely on your device

  • Location data is NOT transmitted to our servers

  • Location data is NOT stored permanently (except mileage totals for expense reporting)

  • You can disable location services in iOS Settings at any time

2.3 iCloud Backup (Optional)

If you enable iCloud backup in the app settings:

  • Your account data, routes, and goals are backed up to your personal iCloud account

  • Data is encrypted and stored in your private iCloud storage

  • Only you can access this data through your Apple ID

  • We do NOT have access to your iCloud data

  • You can disable iCloud backup in Settings → Backup

2.4 Subscription & Payment Information

The App uses RevenueCat and Apple In-App Purchases to manage subscriptions:

  • Payment Processing: Handled entirely by Apple through the App Store

  • Subscription Status: RevenueCat verifies your subscription status with Apple

  • Purchase History: Available through your Apple ID, not stored by us

2.5 Information We Do NOT Collect

  • We do NOT require account creation or login

  • We do NOT collect your email address or personal identity

3.1 Core App Functionality

All data collected is used exclusively to provide app functionality:

  • Maps Integration: Display account locations and navigation routes

3.2 Subscription Management

RevenueCat processes subscription data to:

  • Verify your active subscription status

  • Enable free trial periods (14 days)

  • Manage subscription renewals and cancellations

  • Provide subscription analytics (anonymized)

4. Data Storage & Security

4.1 Local Storage

  • Location: All data stored on your iPhone using iOS AsyncStorage

  • Encryption: Protected by iOS device encryption (when device is locked)

  • iCloud Backup: Optionally backed up to your personal iCloud account (encrypted)

  • Keychain: Sensitive backup data stored in iOS Keychain for security

  • Access: Only accessible by the BevRepRouter app

4.2 Data Security Measures

  • No cloud storage or external databases (except optional iCloud backup)

  • No data transmission over the internet (except subscription verification)

  • Input validation and sanitization to prevent data corruption

  • Memory management and performance optimization

  • Secure backup to iCloud and iOS Keychain

4.3 Data Retention

  • Data persists until you delete it within the app or uninstall the app

  • No automatic data expiration or deletion

  • You can export your data at any time via Settings → Export Data

  • iCloud backups follow your iCloud retention settings

5.1 We Do NOT Share Your Data

Your account contact data, routes, and goals are never transmitted, shared, or sold to any third party.

The App integrates with the following third-party services:

RevenueCat (Subscription Management)

  • Purpose: Manage in-app subscriptions and verify entitlements

  • Data Shared: Anonymous user ID, subscription status, purchase events

Apple Maps (Navigation Integration)

  • Purpose: Provide turn-by-turn navigation for routes

  • Data Shared: Route waypoints when you start navigation (handled by Apple Maps app)

6. Your Privacy Rights & Choices

6.1 Data Access & Control

  • View Data: All your data is visible within the app screens

  • Edit Data: Update or delete account contacts, routes, and goals anytime

  • Export Data: Settings → Export Data (CSV format)

  • Delete Data: Settings → Reset App Data (permanent deletion)

6.2 Location Services

  • Disable location: iOS Settings → BevRepRouter → Location → Never

  • The app will still function without location (route optimization will use first stop as starting point)

  • Mileage tracking requires location services to be enabled

6.3 iCloud Backup

  • Enable/Disable: Settings → Backup → iCloud Backup toggle

  • View backup: Files app → iCloud Drive → BevRepRouter folder

  • Delete backup: Settings → Backup → Delete iCloud Backup

6.4 Subscription Management

  • View subscriptions: iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions

  • Cancel anytime through Apple Subscriptions (no cancellation fee)

  • Restore purchases: BevRepRouter → Subscription screen → Restore Purchases

6.5 Account Deletion

Since the app does not require account creation:

  • Simply uninstall the app to remove all data from your device

  • Delete iCloud backup if enabled (Settings → Backup → Delete iCloud Backup)

  • Cancel your subscription through Apple Subscriptions

  • No account deletion request necessary

7. Children's Privacy

BevRepRouter is designed for professional beverage sales representatives and is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is rated 4+ on the App Store as it contains no objectionable content.

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know: What personal information we collect (see Section 2)

  • Access: Request a copy of your data (already accessible within the app)

  • Delete: Request deletion of your data (Settings → Reset App Data)

  • Opt-Out: We do not sell personal information, so no opt-out necessary

Note: Since all data is stored locally on your device and not transmitted to our servers, you already have complete control over your information.

9. European Privacy Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights:

  • Right to Access: View all your data within the app

  • Right to Rectification: Edit or update your data in the app

  • Right to Erasure: Delete your data via Settings → Reset App Data

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make changes:

  • Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notification

11. International Data Transfers

Since all data is stored locally on your device and not transmitted to external servers, there are no international data transfers. Subscription verification through RevenueCat may involve data transfer to their servers (see RevenueCat's privacy policy for details). Optional iCloud backups are stored in your personal iCloud account managed by Apple.

12. Analytics & Crash Reporting

The app does NOT use third-party analytics services (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase). Basic crash reports may be collected through Apple's standard App Store mechanisms if you have enabled "Share iPhone Analytics" in iOS Settings.
